Axis International works directly with producers, farmer cooperatives, and processing facilities in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania ensuring traceability, quality, and fair practices from the very start of the supply chain.

How We Source

Identify & Engage Producers

We locate farms, cooperatives, and processors with the right capacity, certifications, and quality credentials for each product category.

Sample & Assess Quality

Product samples are evaluated against buyer specifications. We check grading, moisture, size, colour, taste profiles, and other relevant parameters.

Process & Prepare

Produce is processed, cleaned, graded, sorted and packaged at accredited facilities according to destination market requirements.

Pre-shipment Inspection

Independent inspections and lab testing confirm quality, food safety compliance, and adherence to phytosanitary requirements.

Export Documentation

All certificates and trade documents are prepared: phytosanitary, certificate of origin, fumigation, weight notes, commercial invoices, and bills of lading.

Ship & Deliver

Containerised shipments are dispatched by sea or air. We track every shipment until delivery and clearance at the destination port.

Key Sourcing Regions

Uganda

Our primary sourcing hub. Uganda provides Robusta and Arabica coffee, vanilla, sesame, chia seeds, dried fruits, fresh produce in large volumes and excellent quality.

Kenya

Premium Arabica coffee from Nyeri, Kirinyaga, and Kiambu. Avocados, French beans, macadamia, mangoes, and passion fruit sourced from Kenyan highlands and sub-tropical zones.

Tanzania

Arabica coffee from Kilimanjaro and Mbeya regions, cashew nuts from the south, sesame from the central corridor, and assorted fresh produce year-round.

Expanding Network

We continuously evaluate new sourcing partnerships in neighbouring countries including Rwanda, Ethiopia, and Mozambique to diversify our supply base.
